GEBR. HEINEMANN
INTERACTIVE TOUCH TABLE
For the architectural office Amir Rezaii Architects, an interactive exhibit was developed as part of the exhibition "Gebr. Heinemann 1879" in the main building of Gebr. Heinemann in the Hafencity, Hamburg.
As a family-run company, Gebr. Heinemann is one of the most important players in the global travel market. The exhibition GH 1879 staged with a symbiosis of historical and interactive exhibits and presents them in relation to the present.
The application presents the company's current global flow of goods on an interactive globe. The zoomable views can be filtered across the individual business segments, providing global information on locations, flows of goods or cargo informations.
In the exhibition, the application runs on a touch screen that reflects the content on a larger monitor integrated into the wall. An animation starts automatically after a long inactivity of the visitors interactivity and shows overflights over the globe representation with additional information to the enterprise.
